Hope you like this render, it is the "official" first render of 2009!
I say "official" because I have done several renders these past months but mostly for testing. Those might come up later as "Cad's Vault" renders; which are unfinished or simply I though they were not up to the level I expected.
Anyway, this "official" render is still a work in progress (WIP or "wippie" as I call them - )
Yes, it has errors. Still got to work them out. See if you can spot them all. Some are easy to identify, others require a little more search.
Anyway, why do I still post it even with errors? Because the time it takes to render the image.
You see, I've been ranting on getting a multi-core CPU for months, and with good reason. This render took about 2 hours and 7 minutes to finish, and that does not include the hours spent setting up the scene!!
By the time I noticed the flaws, it was already done by 80%, so I thought "cancel the render and redo it and wait for two more hours!!? Nah, forget it."
And the point is that when the program I use (Daz Studio) starts the render process it practically consumes all the CPU cycles for two hours; so I can barely do work on my computer while a render is being done.
That's another reason why I haven't done my graphic novel in 3D yet. Considering that it would take more than 85 scenes to do one chapter, at 3 hours each... that's 255 hours (minimum) now divide that by 6 weekly hours I could spend on the project, that would be over 42 weeks or 10 months to do just one chapter!!!
Well, now you get the idea.
Anyway, your comments are welcome about the characters and please tell me which one is your favorite.
